3 miles N.E. of central Worcester. Off Berkeley Way, Nr. Junction 6, M5

Upper & Lower Smite, 2 miles north, are within the borough of Droitwich. Trotshill is ½ mile south. [57].
Upper & Lower Smite, 2 miles north, detached parts of this parish, were annexed to Hindlip in 1880. [11]

WARNDON, a parish in the lower division of the hundred of OSWALDSLOW, county of WORCESTER, 2½ miles (E.N.E.) from Worcester, containing 177 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, rated in the king's books at £10.0.2½ and in the patronage of B. Johnson, Esq., as trustee for R. Berkley, Esq., a Roman Catholic. The church is dedicated to St. Nicholas. The Birmingham and Worcester canal passes through the parish.
