PEOPLETON, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of PERSHORE, county of WORCESTER, 3½ miles (N.) from Pershore, containing 264 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, rated in the king's books at £11. 10, and in the patronage of ----- Dineley, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Michael.
