Township in Shropshire (Brimstree Hundred) and in Halesowen Ancient Parish (Worcestershire & Shropshire until 1844 but entirely Worcestershire thereafter. Transferred to Worcestershire in 1844 for civil purposes (Halfshire Hundred). A separate Civil Parish in Worcestershire in 1866. Ecclesiastically in chapel at St Kenelm. [25]
