An extract from the Topographical Dictionary of England by Samuel Lewis 1831:

HAMPTON-LOVETT, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of HALFSHIRE, county of WORCESTER, l½ mile (N.N.W.) from Droitwich, containing inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, rated in the king's books at £9. 16. 0½ , and in the patronage of Sir John Pakington, Bart. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
