Descriptive Notes:
St. Paul's is known for its associations with the Rev. G.A.Studdert-Kennedy, a famous preacher, Chaplain to the King, poet and writer. During the First World War, he became famous as a Chaplain and was known as 'Woodbine Willie' for his practice of handing out Woodbine cigarettes along with bibles to troops in the trenches.

The church building was declared redundant by the Church of England on 17 February 1988 and is now leased to the Assemblies of God Church.[80]

A free-to-view site is being developed at freecen.org.uk for the 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871 and 1891 censuses.  Coverage of Worcestershire parishes is rather sparse at this time.
