Descriptive Notes:

Status:
A township in Worcestershire (Halfshire Hundred) and in Tardebigge Ancient Parish, which was in Worcestershire and Warwickshire until 1844, but entirely Worcestershire thereafter. It was a separate Civil Parish in 1866. It was abolished in 1933, part to Bentley Pauncefoot Civil Parish, part to Tutnall & Cobley Civil Parish & part to Redditch Civil Parish. [25]
Webheath, St.Philip was consecrated on 22nd February, 1870 by Dr. Henry Philpott, the Lord Bishop of Worcester. The new Church was to be a daughter church of St. Bartholomew's, at Tardebigge.

Although Vol 1- baptisms 1870-1910, is entitled as being the parish of Tardebigge it is a separate volume from the Tardebigge baptismal register for the same period and appears to be concerned primarily with residents in the Webheath area of Tardebigge parish. Subsequent volumes are entitled Webheath.
