Upper & Lower Smite, 2 miles north, are within the borough of Droitwich. Trotshill is ½ mile south. [57].
Upper & Lower Smite, 2 miles north, detached parts of this parish, were annexed to Hindlip in 1880. [11]

The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, rated in the king's books at £10.0.2½ and in the patronage of B. Johnson, Esq., as trustee for R.
