STOCKTON, a parish in the lower division of the hundred of DODDINGTREE, county of WORCESTER, 7 ¼ miles (S. W.) from Bewdley, containing 168 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £5.13. ll½ , and in the patronage of the Rev. T. Houlbrooke.
