Some ecclesiastical boundary alterations have occurred to create or help create a number of daughter parishes:
In 1892 - to create Selly Hill Ecclesiastical Parish
1911 - to create Selly Oak St Wulstan Ecclesiastical Parish. In 1980 St. Wulstan's amalgamated with the parish of St. Stephen's, Selly Hill [33]
1926 - to help create Bournville Ecclesiastical Parish (with Kings Norton Ecclesiastical Parish & Cotteridge Ecclesiastical Parish)
1933 - to help create ,with Northfield Ancient Parish, Weoley Castle Ecclesiastical Parish [25]
