Descriptive Notes:
Rushwick village has now been circumvented by the new Western By-pass making it a quiet backwater compared with previous times. The South of the parish is bordered by the River Teme.

About 2 mile W.S.W. of Worcester on the A4103.

Parish Church:
St Thomas, at the junction of the A44 and Crown East Lane, currently serves the parish of Crown East and Rushwick.
[Copy Order in Council (16 Feb 1977) creating the new parish of Cotheridge and altering the name of the parish of Cotheridge with Crown East to 'Crown East and Rushwick'.] [2]

The 1911 census is available in full or in part on some of these sites. A free-to-view site is being developed at freecen.org.uk for the 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871 and 1891 censuses.  Coverage of Worcestershire parishes is rather sparse at this time.
