ROCHFORD, a parish in the hundred of WOLPHY, county
of HEREFORD, 2 ½ miles (E. by N.) from Tenbury, containing
264 inhabitants. The
living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Tenbury, in
the
archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of Hereford. The church is dedicated
to St.

A chapel in Tenbury Ancient Parish, which was in Herefordshire (Wolphy Hundred). It became a separate Ecclesiastical Parish in 1843. In 1844 it was transferred for civil purposes from Herefordshire to Worcestershire. Became a separate Civil Parish in 1866. [25]
