HINTON on the GREEN, a parish in the hundred of TIBALDSTONE, though locally in the lower division of the hundred of Kiftsgate, county of GLOUCESTER, 2¾ miles (S. S. W.) from Evesham, containing 195 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Gloucester, rated in the king's books at £8. 13. ll½. J. Baker, Esq. was patron in 1813.
