A hamlet in Great Malvern Ancient Parish, being the area of that parish not in Great Malvern Urban District. It was a separate Civil Parish in 1894 and a separate Ecclesiastical Parish in 1866 from the Great Malvern Ancient Parish and Madresfield Ancient Parish. [25]

St. Mary’s, Guarlford was built in 1844 as a Chapel of Ease and was served by curates from Malvern Priory.
