the hundred of PERSHORE, county of WORCESTER, 8¾ miles (E.

S.) from Worcester, containing 159 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, rated
in the
king's books at £5. 4. 9½.
Thomas Sheldon, Esq. was patron in 1823. The church is dedicated to St.
John
