Created in 1972 - the united benefice for the two had existed from 1625 - by the union of the chapel in Edvin Loach in Clifton on Teme Ancient Parish and Tedstone Wafer, which was probably an original Ancient Parish but perhaps an independent chapel in Herefordshire [25]
