In 1884 Droitwich St Nicholas gained Marlborough in the Vines Civil Parish. It was abolished civilly in 1920 to help create Droitwich Civil Parish and abolished ecclesiastically in 1972 to help create Droitwich Ecclesiastical Parish.[25]

There appear to be no Droitwich St Nicholas registers prior to 1870 though the bishops' transcripts go back to 1611.[5]
